San Diego Resources for Pet Parents Facing Loss
As a practitioner who supports pet parents through grief after facing loss, Iβve noticed many people reaching out in moments of confusion, unsure what to do when their beloved companion is nearing the end of life or has passed unexpectedly at home. After receiving countless heartbreaking phone calls and emails from confused pet parents on what to do in this stage of their petβs lives, I wanted to create this page as a helpful resource in your time of need. Removing confusion and getting the help you need, now.
A resource that I personally wished I had.
This page was created to provide guidance and resources for those tender moments of the goodbye: what steps to take, who to contact, and how to navigate the side of saying goodbye.
If youβve recently experienced a loss, or are preparing to help your pet cross over, please know youβre not alone. When youβre ready for grief support, I offer a Pet Loss Support Program designed specifically for the unique bond between humans and their animals: honoring your grief, validating your experience, and helping you move forward with peace and understanding.
Iβm so sorry for the loss youβre facing, and I hope the resources below bring comfort and clarity during this time.
